| Same as Freeman, I am not against visitors/reporters at all. The point I would like to bring up is, every well established organizations/clubs do have their by-laws or rules to follow. In order to standardize our club's policy, we should established some rules/guildlines for our own. I appreciate the effect from the media, but as Simon mentioned, many people have other intentions to join our activities. How could we establish some precaution measures to avoid these people? Could we set up a committee to screen new members first? I do believe a serious person who want to join our club do have a concern how we run the club. If we could set up some rules, we would in fact attract more serious members. All above is my personal opinion, I have no intention to criticise anyone's ability but just express my view. | I'm not rejecting visitos. However, it is better for us to have a policy or some guidelines or at least a common ground for receping reporters, researchers or friends etc.Meanwhile we also need ground rules since we have established our society, just like all other successful organizations. | What a lovely Sunday it was! Blue sea, white clouds, golden sunshine, gentle wind and rhythmic waves. I really enjoyed the cruise very much. | 我比較同意亞水的意見,多些報導才會有多些人參與,其實記者隨行並不是頭號的問題了,因傳媒最多只會報導多一兩次就不會再有興趣,在過去曾參加活動的人次過百,但留下的有幾人??大部份的參加者都是抱著貪新鮮或貪過引,抱著其他目的者更大有人在,而這些人多數都反對傳媒採訪,因怕自己的意圖會被醒目的記者導破,當這些人發覺目的無法達到就會離開,其實記者可算是我們的警察,而報導又可為我們帶來新人,在此消比長下,活動才有機會發展! | Simon 6/27/2001 01:02:35 | |
